“SENATOR MIKE NOZZOLIO NIGHT” WITH THE GENEVA RED WINGS TO BE HELD FRIDAY, JULY 18TH
Geneva
– New York State Senator Michael F. Nozzolio is asking the community to rally behind the Geneva Red Wings baseball team while also contributing to a local community need.
Senator Nozzolio is sponsoring a free night of baseball for all those wishing to attend “Mike Nozzolio Night” at McDonough Park this Friday, July 18th. Admittance to the game is free for all.
Senator Nozzolio is encouraging all those who attend to also drop-off canned goods to help stock local food pantries that serve local residents in need.
“There is no better way to help our local food pantries replenish much needed supplies than with an all-American baseball game,” said Senator Nozzolio. “It is a pleasure for me to sponsor and host a fun, family-oriented evening of baseball and I look forward to joining everyone in cheering the Red Wings to victory.”
“Senator Mike Nozzolio Night” will feature the Geneva Red Wings at McDonough Park on Friday, July 18th. Gates open at 6:30pm and the game is scheduled to begin at 7:30pm when the Red Wings take on the Bolivar A’s.
All general admission tickets to the game on Tuesday are free. McDonough Park is located at the corner of Nursery and Lyceum streets in Geneva.
Donations may include non-perishable canned goods, paper products, soap, shampoo, baby food, or diapers and will replenish supplies among local food pantries.
